Importance of Baby Mats

There are many names for baby mats, such as crawling mats for infants, baby game mats and baby activity mats. They are all baby mats. On the crawling mats, babies can not only crawl, but also touch words or patterns, and can speak, sing and tell stories.

Traditional crawling articles are usually blankets and bedding, but there are many problems with these articles: 1. Heavy, not easy to carry; 2. It becomes dirty easily. Cleaning takes time and effort; 3. Moisture absorption, easy to get wet. So there is a baby crawling product called "baby mat" on the market. This product is generally composed of EPE and preservative film. The middle layer is EPE (Expandable Polyethylene, an odorless and environmentally friendly material, commonly used in food packaging). The surface layer is preservative film (an environmental protection color film, used for pattern printing).

Crawling condition of babies:

It can be divided into two stages: the bending crawling and the doggy crawling. Generally speaking, babies know how to crawl naturally at about eight months. In the early stage of learning to crawl, almost all of them are moving in the same hand and foot. After that, babies will crawl forward with their elbows with abdomen on the ground. They are crawling very slowly. At the age of nine months, the body can slowly leave the ground and babies start crawling forward smoothly by alternating hands.

Significance:

Crawling is the basis of development of all movements, and there are many benefits for babies to crawl for several months. First of all, when babies crawl on all fours, their neck needs to be raised, and the necks will rotate left and right, so it is very helpful for the development of the necks. In addition, babies use their wrists to support their body weight when crawling, which can increase the strength of their wrists. It's good for children to eat with spoons and doodle with pens in the future. In the process of crawling, it can improve the coordination of movements of knees and arms and the flexibility of limb joints.
